I don’t care what race the character is tbh just don’t change it, make your own oc if you want but changing the race of a already existing character which you don’t have ownership of is a lazy move. For me it has nothing to do with racism it’s just annoying that people are too lazy to just make an oc for a series or whatever they want. But have the time to whatever-wash a already existing character.

The only way to stop discrimination is to not talk about it. Saying something bothers you is like handing someone a metaphorical knife so they can stab you in the heart. You just give them tools to hurt you. Whatever group doesn’t matter it’s the same. Don’t give them power and their won’t be an issue.

Ok. My opinion on the whole "racewash" is: i do not give a fuck whether or not people change the skin color of a fictional character. In fact. I could care less. I just prefer for it NOT to be done so i dont have to see arguements about "OH THATS RACIST!" Because its not even a real person. I dont get why people can't just accept that people do what they want and complaining in the comments wont help. It makes it more popular and in turn makes more people make it even MORE popular.

hey i feel a lil bad about the hate u getting but they right, i mean i made my own black characters in existing animes and i dont think its a good idea to just change the race of a existing character, ik its a headcanon tho but it feels like copyrighting.
