In South Africa 🇿🇦, we prefer 6 cyl Diesels. Almost as quick as the petrol V8. And half the fuel consumption. Oh, those 3 diffs can be locked WHILE ON THE MOVE. No journos ever say that.

G-Wagon SUVès---overbult for their ue in the civilian market. 99 perent of buyers will NEVER go 'off-road'. :)) At most theyèll drive it over gravel-road. :)) Just like how guys that buy 'dive watche' NEVER go 'deep diving' LOl// At most theyèll wear the watch into the pool :))

Itès all about STATUS. Itès the ultimate SUV to 'flex' with...with one of the ugliest interiors out there IMHO....'too military looking'....omething civlian should NOT want in their 'everyday use SUV'. :) Luxury SHOULD be so vital--for the interior. ...If you want a boxy SUV get a Jeep Wrangler :)) Same thing....even on the isnide....the PLUS the Wrangler is ove the G-wagon is the doors and rof panels are removeabe. :) Soemthing you want for REAL

While the G-Wagon had military roots it wanmèt truly thought through if the car started filling with waterÉÉ Drivng through a 3 foot puddle....heh...or a 2 foot puddle....etc....donèt think any SUV is actualy 'water tight' (the doorséinterior cabin....correct me if ièm wrong...heh....so much techéfeatures is MARKETIG :)) e.g. features that sound good on paper but are features engineers know buyers will NEVER test :)). G-Wagon owner will NEVER go off-road' ....at most drive over a pot-hole :)) So what really is the point of buying a SUV 'that could...ÈÉÉÉ
