ICC Seeks to Arrest Netanyahu for War Crimes in Gaza | Vantage with Palki Sharma

The International Criminal Court seeks to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. The ICC prosecutor, Karim Khan, has asked ICC judges to issue the warrant. Along with Netanyahu, the ICC prosecutor seeks warrants for Israel's Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders, Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Ismail Haniyeh. The ICC has accused Netanyahu of multiple war crimes, like using starvation as a weapon against civilians in Gaza. It has also accused Hamas of war crimes since the October 7th attack on Israel. Israeli politicians have rallied behind Netanyahu and they are denouncing the ICC for equating Netanyahu's actions with those of Hamas.

It's probably a good idea for kareim Kahn to calm down and stay low and don't fly on any helicopters anymore. Ever.

One thing is for sure - Netanyahu can never go to South Africa, when the warrant for his arrest is issued.

What about the US, UK and Germany and all other Israel Arms providers

If the ICC wants any international respect whatsoever then they "MUST" put out a warrant for his arrest and his peoples arrest.

The ICC is acting out of its jurisdiction. Regardless, Israel shall continue the war that Hamas had started until the hostages are freed. It shall do so in accordance with international law and will continue to allow humanitarian aid enter the Gaza strip, in an effort to ensure that the people of Gaza shall not starve, as it did since the start of the war. However, Israel will not comply with the ICC as it is not a signatory to the Rome Statute. And this decision explains very well why not. Historically, Israel was of the countries who formed the first version of the Rome statute, but then the Arabs demanded to add specific anti-Israeli clauses into it. Such as defining any sort of a naval blockade as a war crime, stuff like that. So Israel simply didn't sign it.

I hope this is true. This criminal needs to be stopped. For those mentioning previous war criminals, I agree, they too should have been arrested, but we can not go backwards, and should not allow Netanyahu to contine with a genocide.

It is just a tact by Mr. Karim to protect and save Hamas leaders because he knows Israel will reach them by all means

The question is do Turkey and Qatar recognise the ICC? Will Hamas leaders be arrested in those countries if the warrant passes? Because both these countries are equally guilty of harbouring Hamas terrorists on their soil.

Indeed this man deserves an arrest. He thought he is immuned to prosecution.

About time. BOTH CRIMINALS need to be condemned...and punished. 30, 000 civilian deaths make Netanyahu a monster.
