Hi! Thank you so much for making this video, Today I bought an HP Pavilion 15-BC450NS with a 2Tb Crucial MX500 SATA 3 SSD and a 1Tb Crucial MX500 M.2 SSD. I had the doubt about the maximun amount of RAM you can install to this laptops, I wanted to have 16Gb but last time I cheked in HP support, they were saying this laptops only support 8Gb maximun (something that seems not to be true at all), thanks to this video I'm out of doubts now, thank you.

But it is possible to replace only the 128GB SSD and not the 2 TB? I only want to upgrade my 128GB SSD to 500GB but i can't find the place, where the SSD is located...

Hi! I have an HP Pavilion 15-au106tx. Ive checked the manuals but Im not sure if I was right on understanding it. I have two inquiries regarding about the RAM and M.2 SSD part

About the RAM:
I can add two 8gbx2 sodimm on my laptop right? I was skeptical since it said there being "customer Also, it said there that max ram it can handle is 16gb, so I shouldnt go beyond it right?

About the M.2 SSD:
I think it said that M.2 SSD is supported. Under it, it talk about some SSDs that can support it which is SATA III SSD 128gb and 256gb. Theres no 500gb but I was wondering if the disk size would matter? Shouldnt the disk size not matter, only the SSD connection, whether it is PCIE or SATA? I dont get why disk size would matter since this isnt RAM where theres max ram to consider.

Also can I not put NVME M.2 SSD on it? There was a line on SSD specifications about "256 GB SATA III SSD NVME". Is that a typo? Lastly, can I make 1tb HDD & 256gb SSD(ideally 500gb but not sure if supported) run together? Cause the configuration on the manual about HDD+SSD only said about 1tb HDD+128gb SSD

Hey man, thank you for the video and I have a question. On 3:05 is the hard drive screwed or its just inserted between the metal brackets. I would like to istal an SSD because i bought the laptop with only M2 ssd and the slot for the HDD is free. I need the sata cable and the ssd but i want to know if the regular 2.5'' ssd sits in that place without screws or things, only ''snaps'' in. Thanks

Il semblerait que cet HP accepte des cartes M2 MVMe (exemple : Samsung 950PRO Disque Flash SSD interne 256 Go PCI Express). Quelqu'un peut-il confirmer ? Nous faire part de son expérience ? La norme SSD M2 MVM Express permet de quadrupler les vitesses des SSD standards.
