Scientists discover Zealandia, a 'hidden continent' around New Zealand

Zealandia has been written off for decades “as an amalgam of continental fragments and slivers” and ocean crust, but now researchers say the land mass meets all the definitions of a continent.

If Zealandia is a continent, then UK, Iceland, Greenland, Japan, Indonesia, Cuba, Singapore, & India are continents too. Look to the N.E. of Zealandia & you see another underwater land mass with mountaintops & islands sticking out. There many large shallower spots in the oceans with high spots or mountains on them making islands. Aren't they all continents too?
