NEW BMW X7 (352 hp) - POV drive & walkaround

Today we drive the biggest BMW ever. This is the 2023 BMW X7 xDrive 40. A 7-seater SUV with all the luxury of a limo!

This 2023 X7 gets an updates front end with the new dynamic lights and a bit more power & torque compared to the 2022 X7. Our test car looks absolutely gorgeous in this Frozen Pure Grey color with the Shadow Line and M Sport packs. And with the M Sports exhaust, it sounds like a wild beast!

We drive the xDrive40d version, a diesel version you can't order in the US. Instead there's the petrol xDrive40i version, with 375 hp and a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.8 seconds.

But there are 2 even more impressive versions of this luxury SAV available: the BMW X7 M60i makes 523 hp thanks to a 4.4-liter Twin turbo V8. And if that isn't enough power for you, in the Alpina XB7, the V8 is tuned to 631 hp and you get a 0 to 60 mph time of just 3.9 seconds!

That interior engine noise is fake. It's coming from the speakers. Modern diesels are surprisingly quiet.

1:06 I love your videos, but that was a terrible edit on that start-up. Not only was it jarring, but you also cut out the full sequence, i.e. the warning lights gradually turning off, the infotainment fully booting up and tapping the screen to skip the warning message.
