NEW 'QUEUE ITEM' FEATURE in League of Legends! (PBE Preview)

Definitely most useful for newer players, but the feature from 1:17 may be useful to buy 2 items faster.
Also you can ping the gold needed for an item, without opening the store now.

That Queue feature seems pretty neat for learning the game.

However the craft components looks absolutely useless, just going from left to right, sometimes the better component is on the right.

If it would autocraft it when you enter base, this would be cool. It could give you more tempo, even though I think most good players can buy an item while walking out of fountain and don't even need to stand still. But this is just a gimmick and completly useless.

The best part about this feature is the gold to buy bar. Just a quick glance versus having to open the entire shop

I think Riot didn't do auto buying because dot damage or traps will prevent you from undo the item buying(you won't be able to change what you want to buy the second you recall).

The feature is nice. But it would be better if there's a check box next to it to auto-buy the item or the component after recall or when stepped on the shop range.

I think it will be better to have a few queue slots somewhere above items where we could add selected Items or components to track gold availability. So you will see If you can already afford Item X but a little bit short on Item Y.

Tbh, DOTA's queueing system is better. This just goes from left to right components i think and sometimes you need to priority whats on the right. In DOTA, you can choose the order in the queue. Also do you still need to open the shop to buy whats on the queue?

this looks pretty good for items with smaller components. i can imagine IE being queued or maybe BT causing some annoyance though. you might just want life steal but itll take pickaxe or you die early and want to buy boots/cull but it just buys cloak. idk, not the best examples but maybe you get what i mean. EDIT: oh, it doesn't autobuy? now im not sure it's worth much at all unless youre new to league

the best thing is the bottom right telling you if you have enough gold, since costs of items can change per patch etc

Gold tracker is a great feature and would be appreciated more if were presented separately from the item queuing. Change is still good for new and low elo players and will harm no one from more skilled part of community (or even help them as well, for example - to play on an uncomfortable role). Decision that you need to confirm "smart shopping" is correct and actually has the lowest to-be-hated potential. And another thought: if they just move the queuing functionality outside from the buy button it would be even more consistent, intuitive and will also prevent possible misscklicks.

The Queue feature is in dota2 for ages i guess its about time to be in league too
but why when queueing the item it doesnt autobuy it for you? and here i was under the assumption it autobuys it once queued

Thought it was a pre purchase, like click the item to highlight it, then when you have enough gold and back, it would automatically be purchased and placed into your inventory.
