Backroads tour guide Caitlin Davies takes us on a bike touring dream. Caitlin gives us the inside scoop into what it takes to get a job with Backroads and what it is like working there. It is hard work but is also a lot of fun with plenty of adventure and spontaneity. Every day is different and full of challenges for both the adventure tour guides and their guests. Staff of Backroads of course need to be physically fit, but have to have a great attitude, a love and passion for adventure and be able to pass on that enthusiasm to their guests at all times. They also need to be completely sensitive to their needs anticipating everything the client might need physically and emotionally to support them in comfort on their adventure. Think it would be fun to work for Backroads? Think it would be hard work and rewarding working for Backroads? Yes! Says Caitlin, it is all three!
