Great review, after warching this, im definitely preordering one. I made youtube videos as a hobby (tiny tiny channel) but one if the reasons is stopped was it was hard to get good audio on the videos, this will camera will help a lot!

In the night comparison I thought the DJI gave a sharper image whereas in the following day time comparison the Insta had the sharper images.

Thanks for all of the comparison shots between the two cameras. I watched this on a cheap tablet so my plan is to watch it again tonight on my big ass 4K TV. In terms of wireless audio with the insta, I know the osmo action 5 can take two wireless transmitters at once. Can the insta also take to Bluetooth sources or just one at a time? Ideally I want one mic for the exhaust and another for me 😅

Huge difference between the Bluetooth audio and the wired mic. The latter being way better.

i use to love gopro but i always had audio problems with them from the 5 to the 10. Hearing the audio of the AcePro 2 at 2:37 and 2:57 just took me way back to the bad gopro days! I now use the dji osmo action 4 and love it. I'm sure with enough tweaking to the audio setup on the AP2 cable mic would probably work fine but that sound brought back some PTSD from gopro.

I have the original Ace Pro and it's my favorite helmet cam while my X4 is an amazing 360 for multiple angle shots. The only con that i can think of is the weight of the AP2 as the AP1 was pretty heavy for action cams.

Hey, can you stop recording and start recording and it automatically hook up to the Cardo bluetooth? For instance, if you have your Cardoo on talking to your buddies and you trun the Acepro@ on will it start recording? Nice video!👍

I had the AcePro; really like the camera but found the magnetic mount to be problematic, as I could easily shake the camera free from the mount. Maybe the AcePro 2 is better.

The first time I heard of Insta-360 thought it was a new Go-Pro Model. Now that I have watched this video, other reviews are popping up for the Nista360 Ace Pro 2.
I bought a Go Pro 8 .. Turns out the battery was not removable. I sent it back and got a Go-Pro-8 black and bought two extra batteries and a charger that can charge 3 batteries at the same time.
It looks like the Insta-360 has the Go-Pros beat in a few ways. Keep the simple .
