If there’s 5 sets of 36 brush markers, that’s 180 colours... which is more than the 144 colours? Unless the brush sets have some of the same colours across sets? Thanks for the review!

Thank you for this review! I'm a UI developer. I draw my designs out and am looking for a decent marker set. This was very informative. I appreciate it!

I'm sorry I can't find the link to your website that shows the steps to do the portrait with the markers? I tried every link and it doesn't show those photos???? I am just starting out with alcohol markers so I am very interested in seeing the photos. Thank you Claire!

Did your notice the brush markers being dry? I have the 36 flora set and they're really dry

Hi! What I'm wondering is whether or not the bullet nibs in the 144 set can be removed and replaced with a brush tip? ♥️ from Australia 🇦🇺

I don't understand Arteza's approach to alcohol markers at all. I remember them saying 2-3 years ago in social media comments that brush tip markers would be available "in a few months, " and they would have replaceable nibs *and* refill inks available for the then-just-launched regular Everblend markers "soon." Those refill inks still don't exist, and frankly, from everything I've seen in marketing and reviews, the brush tips are a pretty big letdown for keeping everyone in suspense for as long as they have.

In my opinion, it would've made way more sense, especially since the rumor is they're *not* planning to extend the brush tips to the full 144 colors...Spend all this time developing a brush nib to replace one of the existing marker ends and sell it at a price where it would be reasonably affordable to convert all 144 to brush tips if you wanted to. (Spectrum Noir tried this model a few years ago, but their big mistake was the brush nibs being priced too high to make converting the markers worthwhile over just buying the markers already with brush tips.)

The real issue though, if you ask me, is they've taken so long to roll out what seem like basic features for their alcohol markers, other brands (namely Ohuhu) have had time to infiltrate the marketplace and offer much better options in terms of price and color selection. It's very hard now to justify Arteza's prices for what their offering in this space, even assuming the highest of their brush marker prices are a glitch or oversight.

I looked at the site (29/11/21) Of the sets of 36 markers ... brush nib sets (4 or 5 in total) on sale for £21.99 though it showed it was discounted from £53.99 & normal nib set (8 or so) sale for 19.99-21.99 discounted from £33.99 - £53.99

Yesterday Amazon had a lightning deal on all the brush sets. I paid $39.99 for the portrait set. Your better off waiting for them to go on sale again. I would have never paid $69 for them.

For some reason I have a complete block swatching the Everblend sets… I ordered these when they were on offer and am in the process of matching the older set and this new set…I don’t like this new box because I put the lid on as it came…picked it up and spent the next 10 mins playing 144 pen pick up…🤣It a shame they are reusing the same colours in their new brush nibs…it would have been a good marketing strategy…🥰

If the nibs are changeable then can't you just change the chisel nibs for brush nibs

I'm really hesitant because amazon reviews (at least for me here in spain) are showing only a few reviews and some of them talk about leaking markers, missing tips, used/dry markers or markers that dry after the first drawing you use them for, plus broken container etc. I'm sure it's just bad luck compared to the good reviews and that's something that might hapoen with markers, but there's always the doubt of "what if i'm one of those people too" so idk what to do 😂

I contacted Arteza about the portrait set but have received no response - the Copic Ciao 36 set are cheaper…! £5 a pen is not Arteza quality!

I think that Arteza price is just a glitch. They had a plastic desk tidy for £99 a while ago and it's now £6.99! Amazon has the portrait set for £41.64.

Wow that’s ridiculous for the skin tones! I would go through the lighter skin tones so quick aswell it would be cheaper to buy copics at that price. The ohuhu skin tone set is fantastic for the price. I won’t be buying these unless they drop Significantly in price 😟
