No negative Nelly Here. Very nice guy and good Telecaster player. I have been playing this song for about 30 years and he is spot-on. He is correct in that this is one of those few iconic Tunes in the history of rock and roll that most people remember and most people like when they hear it. Funny story true story. I was a young teenager when this song broke out and was in Chicago at the time. When you called the actual phone number at first it went to the phone of a sheriff's daughter and he of course pitched a fit. Later on the phone number was acquired for use with the Tommy Tutone fan club. When you called the number it gave info for the fan club while playing the song in the background. Don't know why but we used to call it all the time. It was just the thing for that period in time. Tommy Tutone was one of those artists who is lucky enough to have his single played in the very first days of MTV. And when I mean played I mean it was played over and over and over again.

Own Worst Enemy, Jane's Addiction (Been Caught Steeling), KC (Get Down Tonite), Eddie Money (Two Tickets to Paradise), Lenny K (Are You Gonna Go My Way?), Zepplin (What is and What Will Never Be)

I turned 17 in 1980 and 27 in 1990. I was the perfect age to have done the 80s!! You are so right about the music in those years. There is nothing like energetic, upbeat pure Rock and Roll music with that classic rock and roll back beat. You just can't go wrong with it, and the 80s produced some of the best rock and roll music in history. As far as my education goes, I was a late bloomer. I didn't go to college until the 90s when I was 33 years old. The first thing I noticed in the dorms was there were signs all over the place that said "No 80s music allowed on this floor". Well, well, well...yeah...like I was having any of that crap!! By the time I left that dorm I had schooled every single grunge head, alternative fan, and even those burnt out Phish worshipers on what great music is. Turns out most of them never even tried listening to any 80s rock. I had all of them loving my CD collection!!
