WARDEN'S LAW IS DROPPING RIGHT NOW WITH DOUBLE REWARDS GET ON IT PLEASE! Also, if you don't want to use Malfeasance, use this in combination with Lucky Pants :)

Video Transcript
Sah dudes,
This weeks nightfall is dropping the heavy burst handcannon, Warden’s Law, and I was lucky to get a drop with Fourth Time the Charm and Kill Clip for testing. I wanted to see how well it fares when paired with lucky pants, and I got to testing.

For the comparison, I used Seventh Seraph Revolver with Fourth Times the Charm and Harmony. I did not proc Harmony for testing.

Here is Warden’s Law, remember, kill clip was not active for testing. Both testing clips look pretty similar, so let me explain some things.

Now what does this mean? Essentially, we now have another great legendary handcannon to use with Lucky Pants. Malfeasance takes the cake when it comes to overall utility and damage, since it can stun unstoppable champions, and has exploding slugs. Warden’s Law, though, is in a similar boat to Crimson 7due to its burst fire mechanics. Each trigger pull stacks the damage buff twice, instead of once, leading to a faster ramp up of the exotic perk, and more bullets being able to reach max damage. Also, fourth times the charm only takes 2 trigger pulls to proc due to the intrinsic double fire.

The Seventh Seraph Revolver fires at 180 rpm, and fires 10 bullets within 3.33 seconds.
180/60 = 3 bullets per second. 10/3 = 3.33 seconds to fire 10

Warden’s Law fires at 257 rpm, and fires 10 bullets within 2.33 seconds.
257/60 = 4.283 bullets per second 10/ 4.283 = 2.33 seconds to fire 10.

Lucky Pant’s buff only lasts for 5.5 seconds, meaning that Warden’s Law has more time with the 600% increase at 10 stacks. If you are going to chase a roll this week, consider using Fourth Times the Charm and Vorpal Weapon. Warden’s Law is essentially a 2-burst, non-exotic Crimson, and is going to be a great option if you like Lucky Pants, especially since it has an adept version that can use adept mods. There is always Adept Big Ones, or Stability mods for ease of use. I hope this short video helped you out, thank you for watching, and happy farming.

It does do more damage than malfeasance (unless the target is taken or witherhoarded)

I love how quick and to the point your videos are. no 12 minutes of fluff, just "here's the gun, here's the perks, here's the damage testing, here's a few things to consider". really appreciated and I love seeing your videos pop up on my feed bc of that 😊 keep up the great work!

Quick thought dump from someone who's put ~16k kills on Malf since it got its catalyst:

Although Warden's Law does more damage than Malfeasance (without Witherhoard), it's a far less versatile gun. Most notably, it lacks the 40% damage bonus to minors and the slug damage isn't there, which helps Malfeasance extend its range and do some AoE ad clear from time to time.

Feel is another factor. Malfeasance is easy to just pick up and use, but Warden's Law feels a little off to shoot. The burst has a pretty poor grouping that's basically impossible to counter, so landing consecutive crits on smaller and/or distant targets is rare. This hurts FTTC as a third column perk option because activating it is going to be inconsistent. It's only going to be consistent on targets with large crits like bosses and maybe Cabal?

Definitely get your hands on one and try it out. Warden's Law having higher normal DPS and not taking the exotic slot is going to be fun to play around with for damage rotations, but I don't think it's the workhorse Malfeasance is.

TL;DR: Malfeasance is still going to be standard for Lucky Pants setups, but Warden's Law has potential in certain damage applications

Just a tip you can fire roughly 20-22 shots before the buff runs out so as long as you get appended mag you don’t even need fttc but it’s definitely a great combo still (enlightened action instead with appended mag is great)

Being able to pair it with something like ghally or tractor makes this a must have for support hunters

I've always run officer revolver with lucky pants. I either go with vorpal/reconstruction or redirection/reconstruction (underrated roll btw that melts champs in gms if used correctly). As soon as I saw warden's law can roll FTTC/Vorpal I was hyped. I did 4 runs so far but no luck with that roll.

Great video as usual btw!

So many good damage rotations just opened up. Looking at iterative loop +anarchy to pair with it for some boss bakes. Säh

I made a build based on this that finally made me love playing Revenant. I'm mixing the 4th Times/Vorpal Warden's Law with Lucky Pants and Whisper of Rending, and since a Duskfield can freeze a champion twice I can proc Rending at the start and end of the damage window. I then run whatever I need for anti-barrier in the energy slow, currently feeling Hierarchy of Needs or Polaris Lance, and it's a wonderful build for cutting through Master Lost Sectors with ease. Even without a matching surge the damage is strong enough to clear Champions in one mag 30 levels under.

No one really agrees but I have the stated god roll but I prefer Accurized Rounds + FTTC + Vorpal with Adept Mag (I Miss a lot and prefer to shoot from further distances then one would normally fire hand cannons from and you can get low 80s to 90s in Range stats)

If your goal is to kill any champion in one magazine consistantly without running out of bullets just drop Adept Big Ones for Adept Mag and you will maximize the lucky pants buff without hitting precision shots 100% of the time.

Using Law like a heavy boss DPS is odd, as it requires you to re-think how your weapons are layed out. Would you consider using a second primary as your main ad-clear then using something like Gally and Law for boss DPS?

Or is it worth investing in a machine gun as your ad-clear by using finder/scavenger mods to keep it full of ammo and equipping something like a high impact fusion to supplement DPS?

I know people nowadays hate on people using double primary, but I think a set-up like that is an exception.

I'm definitely trying to get a god roll, I've been using a stasis lucky malf rotation with bns apex and it's been working nice, but sometimes exotics are needed and this might be good enough. Hopefully this lets me have decent damage while using gjally. Thanks for the info! Malf is still the best, but having a free exotic slot is worth the dps tradeoff

Imo the gun’s stable at low stability so adept big ones is the way

I ran the nightfall one time on Hero difficulty hoping to just get one drop so I can focus farm it later. I got one and it dropped with FttC/Vorpal. Couldn’t believe it!

Even if malf is buffed with witherhoard +taken
