Additional tips:

To know the exact amount of shots you need in a clip for a given HC with luck pants to achieve max benefit from the damage boost is [ (rpm/60)*5.5 ]. Do whatever is needed between mags and 3rd column perks to get to that number only using backup mag as a last resort. Adept big ones mod is king in the weapon mod spot though with boss/major spec following close behind.

Vorpal is king for nearly all HC when using Lucky Pants and is available. Frenzy is a good alternative when not available or when you’re playstyle includes using your HC while Lucky Pants is on cooldown.

If you have the mag size at or above the required bullet count, you have the right damage perk and boss/champ DPS is the goal, try to min/max by getting your reload time down as far as possible along with boosting your handling.

I got an adept wardens law with smallbore/extended mag and 4th times/vorpal on a range master work. Hits insanely hard

FTACharm is better for me always good to have extra bullets for ads, what is really the issue is why Bungie has not added auto loading holster for lucky pants is beyond me, it would make the playing xp smoother
