Building a Modular Plywood Garden

I think this project would sell well at farmers markets, craft fairs or on etsy and we encourage makers to use our design to make money.

Here is a link to the CNC files on easel:

I used ¼” diameter bits but be sure to double check the cut speeds before carving.

They look so good! I could easily imagine filling multiple walls and corners in my apartment with those planters. Anything to incorporate greenery.

I like that the drip trays fit so you an use smaller pots too.

I absolutely love this. I found you through Chris and his furniture making, but the more I build, the more I find myself falling in love with your projects. Beautiful, functional, and attainable. Thank you so much for sharing the designs (Even if I'm one who'll still be building by hand)

I love seeing the iteration of the design! It’s something you actually do often, but for some reason I really appreciate seeing all the iterations on this video! Thanks for sharing!

OK this was really an amazing DIY vid. I really appreciate how generous you are with your designs and also how simply/completely you narrated each project while adding suggestions for varying uses. After watching twice, sharing with my family, I had to like and subscribe. Great job. Off topic... you just seem like nice guy, who, one doesn't feel intimidated by or over zealous in your demeanor. I like that. No "smash", "crush" buttons or weird hard rock electronica background music.

Very nice! Love the idea of creating an indoor 'jungle area' with those.
I've seen this done with wooden crates, but this would fit my personal style much better.
And it's doable with simple tools 👍

You are awesome! You are the Elon Musk of woodworking but better because your'r making it possible for us mere mortals to create on a budget and/or create home businesses. Thank you for being so disruptive!!!! I am going to do this in lieu of a plant wall for my outside patio and thankfully I have lots of left over plywood! I will take your advice and attempt with my Ryobi jig saw versus circular....

I really like the design. I think the more triangular shape adds some nice lightness to the form over the hex design. And the mix-and-match modules really work well together. Overall all, a very cool look. Thanks for sharing!

All the different versions look great. To simplify the CNC version assembly, you might want to consider using dog bones on the inside corners. The little relief it gives prevents the need to round right angle corners.

Great shapes, enjoyed the software demos at the end, use illustrator all the time but the arc created on the grid is a great way of working. Always get tips when seeing how people use software.

Ouu, I could see higher versions used in open plan offices as partitions.
Nice design.

Fun idea, you can make files for smaller pots or bigger pots.

Excellent, adding instructions for both is great. Both give viewers options and probably will reduce your "complaints" by at least half :). Looking forward to building a mpcnc some day. And getting some land in JT.
