Appreciate your comments on my Idol Mr. Gary. Hope you will do a video on his version of Unchained Melody. IMHO it is the greatest arrangement and beautiful rendition ever. It WILL brng you to tears!

Thanks! John Gary was crooner, a stylist of what they used to call "easy listening" and "showtunes" from musicals and movies. Was famous for his vocal range and control. When you listen carefully sometimes you can hear him move from one phrase to another and then hold a sustained note following that, without a breath in between. Between the lyrics and the presentation, I also get emotionally involved. Recommend "Once Upon a Time", "Till", "I'll Be Seeing You", "Unchained Melody"

There have been a lot of great singers over the years and like the best of them, John Gary was one of a kind. Love his recordings of Two Different Worlds, Black Is the Color of My True Love's Hair, Let There Be Peace On Earth, Danny Boy, An Irish Lullaby, Ebb Tide, Once Upon a Time and My Foolish Heart.

I'm so happy that you love this version. He was an amazing man with a three and a half octave voice. You should react to his version of "Somewhere". Wow! I cry every time I hear that. Thanks so much for this - and for the 100%!
