Stories of Regeneration: A New (Re)Generation - Ft. Carrie Richards

Показать описание
When Carrie Richards was growing up, she always had a feeling she'd end up taking over the ranch that her family had owned and operated since 1941. What she didn't expect was to do so in her 30s, with a husband and two kids in tow, and to radically change the way her family had managed their land for generations. Through research, trial and error, and a tireless multi-generational effort, Carrie has been able to implement regenerative farming methods that build back soil and revitalize the land. By stewarding the land regeneratively - focused on the full spectrum of health from soil to cattle to community - Carrie is bringing new life to the family ranch and illustrating the wonderful possibilities of regeneration.

Just a city-dwelling beef consumer here trying to learn about why I should support organic, grass-fed cattle and regenerative farming. I absolutely loved watching this video and am totally inspired to do my part by spending the extra $$ and voting with my pocket book to encourage this movement back to the way God intended us to care for the land. You go girl!!

"Take care of the grass. The cows will take care of themselves" - wise words! Kiss The Ground has nothing to do with "environmentalism" ... it's just common sense. It's getting back to human wisdom and what actually works <3 <3 <3

Pretty much the story of me and my dad. Farming is tough, but farming with you family can be the tougher, but the rewards in the end are priceless. So awesome to see these stories. We're not the new generation, we're the regeneration

I've long believed that the best stockmen are women. I could be wrong about that but Carrie Richards helps persuade me that I'm not. Nice addition to the series.

Really good, we need to highlight this transition that thankfully more and more ranchers are making.

I ❤ this story. My grandfather was a farmer. He had 12 children and lots of descendants. Not a single one has taken up farming. I hope young generations will learn regenerative farmer and change our world for the better.

Whoever produced, made this film, has an artists eye and a beautiful heart too. They make it look so easy, and to be honest, with these folks and that land...

It is so awesome that they let us customers in to see farm and family. These are exactly the kind of people I was hoping to find. I love meat and I also want to see that the cows are treated well, and that the land is used in a sustainable way (where possible). Carrie Richards, thank you for the work you and your family are doing. This is the kind of thing we need in this world.

Having been on the ranch a number of times, I can say it's absolutely thrilling to see the progress Richards Ranch has made (re)discovering a balanced approach that is allowing the land to heal itself from the inside out. The commitment the Carrie and Dan and extended family have made is an inspiration to all. I see three generations of family who's love and hard work pays dividends well beyond any paycheck. You are very fortunate to have such a special place to call home!
