Population of Hindu reduced from 30 % to 8% in Bangladesh and in Pakistan from 27% to 2% but in India Muslim grew in population..so no parallel to Hindu tolerance..he tried to be idealist but ground reports are exactly opposite

What a hypocrite. We all know that peaceful majority had always been rendered irrelevant by the radicals. When Hindu minorities have been reduced to less than 7% from 28% what is this gentleman talking about Indian misengagement with a Muslim majority country. Hundreds and thousands of Bangladeshis comes to India every year for various reasons and they are most welcome here. He will never admit that there is an underlying hatred against Hindus per se and that is why there's a persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. No amount of sophisticated argument can cover the underlying problem of hatred towards Hindus.

Instead of outright condemnation, South Asian nations should introspect on their treatment of minorities to determine if they truly uphold liberal values. India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, among others, must examine their policies and decision-making processes. Minority groups should have autonomy over their affairs, with reforms, if necessary, initiated and led by the communities themselves.

Many Bangladeshi citizens view the recent student protests as a revolutionary struggle against authoritarian rule. While this is understandable, it does not explain the attacks on Awami League supporters, including celebrities. What about the targeting of Bangladeshi Hindus and their temples? Despite the existence of Muslims who protect their Hindu neighbors, underlying communalism is evident within society. A people-centered democratic model is needed for the country.

To uphold the principles of secularism, a strong argument can be made for removing Islam as the state religion of Bangladesh. While some believe religious belief can strengthen secular credentials, others question the need for a state-imposed religious identity, especially one established by a dictator in the mid-1980s

Bharkhas Muslim mindset: show burning pictures if Muslim, show protecting photos if Hindu. This is how it works

Why do Indian media always invite those who side with India. Mahfuz Anam is an Indian sympathizer active to patronize Indian agenda. In the current Bangladesh crisis, many more Muslims were attacked than Hindus. People were not attacked because they are Hindu or any other minority but because they were supporters of Awami League who benefitted unfairly from this fascist regime. Even Hindus in Bangladesh resonate with what I just mentioned as you can listen to Hindu Mohajot leader Gobinda C. Pramanik. Indian media is outright lying about so many things like a Muslim cricket player Mashrafi's house was set ablaze and Indian media reported the house belonging to a Hindu cricket player Liton. Why? No matter what the ground reality is, Indian media is always poised to portray a racial or Islamist twist to it. Grow up!
