After a thrilling season, we have crowned our most important podium of the season, our final Championship Top 3.

In third place, narrowly pipping good friend James Deane to the post is Irish youngster, Conor Shanahan. He finishes the season out in third place, just one step behind older brother Jack Shanahan, who put in a hard fight all season long to claim second place overall.

And rounding out our 2022 season overall in first place, and becoming back-to-back champion on home soil is Polish driver and ever-consistent, Piotr Wiecek.

Curious why they still use tires with so much contact patch in the wet? A better suited wet tread design or studless winter tire such as Toyo observe gsi-6 grips very well in wet/slush/ice. More control and more speed makes it more fun to watch and less wrecks. Reading through the rules I didn’t see anywhere that you have to use summer specific tread patterns/tire compounds or use all the same tread/compounds at each event.
