Slappy Trucks: One Year Review (Inverted Hollow Kingpin/Axle 8.5')

Been a full year since i purchased my own pair of Slappys, so here's a quick look at how they held up and my opinions on them.

Good call on the Teflon tape. Thanks for the suggestion on the death savers. These are super turny and fun to me.

The newer baseplates hold the kingpins better. I swapped my kingpins out for OG nos Ti-Lite kingpins. Your average replacement bushings fit Slappys...and I'm hooked on Slappys now and all other trucks are dead to me.

Independent and Venture metal feels almost extremely different, one grinds smoothly while the other more hard and almost chunky

Do the wheel bite stoppers help? One of the only problems these trucks have. That and the kingpin getting loose..

How did you order the death savers? I can't figure out where it says to order on their site. Also, how are they working? Holding up?

Do you skate tight or loose trucks? Slappy is perfect for those who skate loose
