Man! Just look at them 1:50. This is what love is about. Two lost souls that found each other. Look at how they literally melt each other all while kissing so passionately. Add in the beautiful and haunting track by Dawid Podsiadlo as it intensifies at the right moment and you got one of the most memorable and most romantic scenes in the history of anime. Period.

Lucy's dream was to go to the moon, His moms was that he be #1 and she envisioned him standing at the top of Arasaka tower, Maines dream was basically to be the best. David was basically just chasing other people dreams and dint have a dream for himself from the start but i think eventually his dream was just to make sure his friends and those he cared about were safe. Lucy's dream is to one day go to the moon but when she meets David and they finally get together she comes out of her shell, she was invited to maines group by Kiwi but the only person she probably really knew would have been Kiwi and everyone else were just Work Associates. Now that David and her get together she starts to show more emotion and she does fall in love with him, hes the first person and only person that shes spoken to about herself. Her past and what's happend in her life and her dream, but with this comes her want to keep safe so when JK takes him she basically goes Yandere mode and when she finds out that Arasaka wants David shes freaks out and feels that she may loose him, wipes his info and basically hunts down people who get to close to David. Her Dream now has the added goal of having David with her Safe together. In the end David fulfills first his mothers Dream, then Maines Dream by basically becoming #1 and eventually a NC Legend and finally The dream of Lucy and sends her to the moon but he couldnt keep his Promise of Bringing her so he Sent her to the Moon with enough money for her to probably live in peace for a time and gave half to Falco so that he can get her out and he can kinda rest easy. And he does fulfill his dream of keeping his friends safe some died sure but he cant save everyone when the odds are stacked against him 10-1. And he did what others could never do and that's Go out with a Smile on his face. Man now that I think of it I feel like its Eremika all over again. They even got Falco.

how they express their emotions with the body language, the voice acting, the slow build up, the music...everything of this short scene is beautiful.

plus, would you believe that Lucy is voiced by Yuki Aoi, like, Tatsumaki, Komachi and Lumine. Lucy is literally the 180 degrees opposte
