the way that lucy went from not caring if this 17 year old kid got killed by maine and ripped apart by scavs to putting her life on the line so he wouldn’t have to be a slave to arasaka and he could live and be happy was definitely heartwarming. loving david made her human

The fact that right after Adam Smasher tells him that, David flips out and IMMEDIATELY gets Lucy out of there just on base psychotic instinct, that tells you what his real priority is. He's not there to fight Smasher; Smasher's the distraction. Lucy's his priority.

He'd already pretty much said it, but I thought it was a nice touch that Smasher goading him made him take action on his real mission.

As a person who almost always watches subs, I fucking love the dub of cyberpunk and the sub cannot top it at all. It just goes to show that dubs can be amazing if given the attention and respect it deserves. The voice actors of lucy and David did so amazing, just hearing their voices alone during this scene brings so many emotions to light, makes my heart ache hearing the sadness in Lucy's voice

Learning about Cyberpsychosis is wild. and while the way to fix it can be chalked up to "the power of friendship" the fact that MILITARY GRADE MEDS had zero effect on him before ge got to Lucy, and even when he basically lost it fully she was still able to pull him back to normality while still in the skeleton. Fuckin wild
