Clark Turner Tuning TRUE ANTI LAG SYSTEM

Показать описание

This is a demo of the NEW Antilag system from Clark Turner Tuning. This is a TRUE antilag system using the STOCK ECU with the COBB AccessPort EMS.

This system controls throttle, timing and fuel. Does not rely on a 2-step limiter. It also does not require the driver to throttle the car.

The only difference between this and secondary air injection antilag are which cars come with secondary air injectors. This method is commonly used on cars without air pumps by simply keeping the throttle open and retarding timing, which back on the day was a lot of rally cars (including Subarus). Nowadays many cars have secondary air pumps for emissions control that can be used as a bypass. Both methods achieve the same thing via the same cycle; the only difference is where the air comes from. This builds boost off throttle, so it is not a 2 step.

The subaru jet anti lag system build up boost while idling

So does this mean that antilag is only active when the switch is on? And will it conserve mpg if the switch is off? I want to know more about ALS systems. And is it safe to use not from the launch?

My 1983 dump truck has this. Only it's a pull lever and says idle control on it.

and how would you take over to launch the car?

In a way, that can be called an antilag system, because the idea is that when the foot is off the gas, this function keeps the boost pressure up. It also apparently raises the revs at the same time, which is the problem here. That is, the behavior of the car in a situation where the gas is off, for example in four-wheel drive cars, this manifests itself as a jolt when braking because the engine has the drive on. The problem in question was encountered at one time also on the rally side, which led to the fact that today there are e.g. fresh air antilag, Rocket antilag and even nitrous oxide are used for antilag purposes, e.g. in drifting racing cars.

Research what WRC rally guys were doing regarding antilag. It involves a rocket and rerouting air.

So... if you were driving and just had your foot on the gas whilst the switch was on, would your car shoot flames and get a boost?

Although I don’t see and lag I’d just say that is a very interesting way of settting up a retarded mixture like that so the turbo spoils up much faster

Bro that is not anti lag, that is controlled mistiming. Aka 2 step

Is that just for launches or is that somehow left on during a run/lap to keep your revs up there?

How is this a "true" anti lag system? I thought rally style anti lag was the "true" system since that's what well.. rally cars use?

Thats good, but why no make to do this with his own pedal "click on and put down the pedal and up to max boost" click down full throttle go to 8k, ...

Not antilag.... why the hell do you work on cars and not know what antilag is and have the balls to call it 'true antilag' when it very clearly isn't.

And although it saids lag it could be boost threshold 😂

Lol. That’s is not anti lag.
Oh
ALS and 2 step are completely different.
