I bought clark turner's stage 2 93 map and I can say the car feels incredible. I got nothing but good things to say about him. He was very patient with me (even tho I'm a car noob).

Glad you're enjoying your new tune! For reference Bren Tuning states right in the directions to do a two minute idle after driving around the block, then doing a 2k-redline pull. This is right from my direction file from Bren, maybe it's different for the WRX but I doubt it. 

Big thing here if anybody does an e-tune please be sure to read the directions that the tuner sends to you. Don't just assume the default logging parameters are what the tuner wants either.

"First Log: A short and easy drive around the block and part throttle to 3, 000 to 4.000 rpms.
Second Log: Relaxing at Idle for two minutes with the A/C off.
Make sure the A/C is off. Start the logger again by pressing the center button. Allow the car to
idle for two minutes while the logger logs. Stop logger. Your second log is now complete.
Third Log: Full Throttle Pull from 2, 000 rpm to redline. 5 speed? Use 3rd gear. 04-06 STI 6 speed? Use 4th. 07+STI 6SPD, 2010+LGT, or 2015+ WRX use 3rd gear. CVT car? Use S mode: Sport."


This was right in the "ETUNEHOWTO" PDF file that Bren sent me with my first revision.

It's also best if you reflash and not touch the throttle on a cold start and let it idle until it's fully warmed up. Shut the car off, restart it, then go for a drive. That's the old school Subaru way of letting the ECU relearn.

20mpg we run on liters in AUS and a quick conversion is 14.1 liters gee man thats like a v8 hope you get that sorted really soon.

The conversion from pedal input to throttle opening involves several tables: Pedal Position to Requested Torque, Requested Torque Ratio Base, Requested Torque Ratio to Throttle Position.  Changing any one of the three can affect how much the throttle moves.

I'm going through Clark. I sent my logs Tuesday and haven't gotten anything back. I did message him and he's going to read emails tonight. Then again he's out of the states. So that might contribute with the time he has.

The only time I notice the throttle acting differently is when the tables are wiped and the ECU has to relearn. Is it s a new feature on 2015+? I quite like my pedal a bit less touchy.

Also i believe for the 6speed the only difference between 3rd and 4th gear pulls are only on the dyno, putting in 3rd would read SLIGHTLY higher than a 4th gear pull.

I didn't realize that TorquedPerformance was even doing 2015 tunes. This isn't reflected on their website.

Who do you prefer Clark or Bren, I just got rev1 from Bren and felt the same way, I felt like the Cobb stage 2 map felt faster. I like a touchy pedal as well, the other way just feels like I have to Have pedal to floor to really move it

Hey Mark quick question I'm switching from Bren to Clark and Clark only wants 2000-5000k wot runs.? just curious if that is what you did.. Seems odd we wouldn't want a redline log? Any feedback would be much appreciated! ...

Instructions from BrenTuning:

"After the ECU is reset, Start the car and let the car idle for at least 2 minutes. DO NOT touch the gas pedal. This time allows the ecu to turn on the 02 sensors, trim fuel and align the intake or exhaust cams on AVCS engines."

You should look into PhatBotti Tuning, I had my car Dynotuned and spent a shit ton of money and Ron at PhatBotti Retuned me and my car feels 100x better. He is the most legit Etuner for the newer (and older) subarus
