How I made this 2D+3D animation in Blender

In this tutorial, I will be creating a 3D model, adding the Cloth Physics, and then giving it a 2D effect with grease pencil :)

If anyone is having any problems at 4:43 with the cat exploding after putting the subdivision below the cloth, I just increased my quality steps under the cloth physics from 8 to 10 and that worked for me

if someone is having problem with it bugging just like he show on the minute 5:5 and what he did to solve didnt work, try changing the numbers of tension and compression in stiffnes page on cloth physics, for me worked just fine. Great video by the way you helped me a lot!

If some are confused by not finding the animall add on at first like I was, it is located in exstensions (Edit/Preferences/Get Exstensions), first install then it will appear where add ons are. Great tut, thank you!

This is a good tutorial for it is not lazy, other had said something like, "apply a mirror modifier", I often work like so, but to not use it and just eyeball positions until you think it look good often give a more dynamic and natural result.

Very cute video, exciting to try to learn how to create this look. Thanks for creating the tutorial. Once it got to grease pencil, though, it didn't include enough detail for me to follow it. There's some amazing stuff in this tutorial, but in the future, I'd highly suggest going slower and explaining each step more thoroughly. If this had been an hour-long video with precise descriptions and explanations, it would be absolute gold.

I mean you can still tell its 3D. I would suggest fever frames and timing of those frames to mimic a cartoony look

You can to press Shift + 2, and Subdivide modifier already would be with second Levels View
Hotkey for Proportional Editing - O
To join meshes select all (double click A), and press Ctrl + J
