Film Essay Lloyds of London

Показать описание
In this film essay I will be exploring my interest in how every detail reveals intellectual clarity as the Lloyds building design serves as the best model of Radical Bowelism. Richard used the Pompidou Centre as an inspiration for his design vision for the Lloyds of London building. This was a major change as the first building was created in concrete whereas its new form holds a windowless exterior, made with stainless steel.
The building is designed 'inside out' as Rogers parades all the building's services on the exterior of the building including – pipelines, stairs and the glass lifts which were the first of their sort in the UK.
Many people criticise Rogers designs and visions to be too futuristic, however, I find that his designs are breath taking as its design is to be practical and convenient allowing future expansion and functionality.
