This prejudging is a typical Yankee Northern ignorance. As a Southern the misconception thinking we are all backwards and lack education or intelligence displeases me. While living up New England area the arrogance of the NE college types amuses me how lack common sense the produce or have. Thank God I will continue to keep my Southern Accent.

I feel like people from the south have a really hard time landing a 4 year degree white collar type of job outside of the south. This could be why wages are lower in the south. Everybody thinks we’re dumb but my schools kicked northern schools ass in our senior project for civil engineering. It wasn’t even close 😂

I'm from the south when my boss and owner of the company and all employees sounds the same is that part of the study results lol come on man now i do believe we get judged as redneck in other parts of the country I've had countless pant suit wearing Karen's in Oregon turn their nose up to me just walking down the sidewalk when i say hello so i don't doubt it in the west or North
