Id like to point out for those who do not know Bohler D2 is a good quality steel and very common in Europe, this knife was made in Italy and they dont have the same access to steel options we do in the US...Id also love to point out that I talk to knife guys daily for the last 20+ years of my life and the majority of people who talk about a knife being overpriced for its blade steel dont use knives hard enough to break them so you dont have any worries, lol..Some of the people who end up buying this knife will beat it up and love it, some will buy it and use it moderately and love it...maybe a handful of people may not not like something about it but most of the people who buy this knife wont even cut anything with it anyway, it will sit in a collection of other "cool knives" and there's nothing wrong with that....buy what you like and do whatever you want with it...

I made this post before I watch the full video and you made the same points just about!
Man I love Bowie knifes! I just made one for myself! You can do so many things with the Bowie knife I think people need to start bringing him back for Bushcraft. Not only is it a phenomenal self-defense tool, but the type of wood you can baton with that thing chopping down trees splitting kindling! This one looks awesome and if it's a Dave Canterbury or Pathfinder approved then you know it's quality!

You know what Dave, Jim Bowie would be very proud of that knife. I believe that's one of the best knives you put out so far but then all of your knives are good. I have to say good job.

About everything you could ask for in a Bowie. Invaluable in a situation where you decided not to bring a hatchet, or lost the hatchet.

I'm glad to see this! Looks great!! D2 gets a bad rap from lesser smiths that don't know how to use it...Lifetime warranty? I'm in because I know they're doing it right. Haters beware, D2 can be amazing!

Dave, what type of grind does the blade have? Your website doesn't mention the grind. Looks like a flat sabre grind. The website also says the blade thickness is 0.5mm thick as well as 0.19" thick this video states it's 0.25". I think ithe website means 0.5cm or 5mm not a half of a millimeter. I'm mentioning these things because I think you'd appreciate knowing them.

Mr. Canterbury just when I thought I couldn't find a better knife because I bought a $600 bowling up from Michigan and it's not a bad. Blade to a big twelve inch blade of a deer antler handle on it, however I have been in the market for a while for a night. That will fit on my gun rig but I use 2 guns all the time., and sir you have provided me the great answer. I've been lookinbefore period god bless you sir I'll be over in one soon.

I bought the knife that you have brought back called the forest tool, that is a fantastic large knife Hope a lot of people ordered one, those that didn’t order one, they are really missing out on a beast…
