In the 6th part of my Loop Station Tutorial series it's all about using a metronome.
Finding the right tempo and keeping it is crucial when recording the first loop.

It helped me a lot, when I found out, that I could use the RC300 as a metronome.

The chord progression and the hook are from "Somebody that I used to know" by Gotye.

Extremely useful. the RC-300 manual is so poorly laid out and complicated. Your videos have helped solve a lot of mysteries and frustration.

You are a very good teacher, thorough, accurate and interesting. And you cover things relative to issues players would encounter. You've saved me a good deal of time needing to poke around, looking and learning. Thank you!

This is great. I just got my RC-300 and spent some time with it today. I was wondering if it had a count-in feature, and now I know. Thank you!

Hello my friend. First of all, congratulations on the content. It is very good to have people like you who are willing to help.

I have the following problem:

I can separate all the RC300 tracks on my mixer by doing the following:
1. I direct track 1 to SUB and turn the PAN to L;
2. I direct track 2 to SUB and turn the PAN to R;
3. I direct track 3 to MAIN and see PAN to L;
4. I turn my guitar on at input R, and it automatically comes out only at MAIN at output R;

With that, I get a separate equalization for each pedal output! The problem in question is THE CLICK!

This only gives me an option to TOTALLY map to MAIN or TOTALLY to SUB! Is there any way to make it come out separately tmb? Is there an alternative to hearing a separate click? I say that, because it doesn't work to use an EXTERNAL click (from another program, application or pedal) because you can never sync 100% with the loops, it would have to be the CLICK of the RC 300 itself.

Hi Stefan, your tip on how to set up an count in and metronome on the first loop, for it to go away after that, was really really helpfull to me! I have bought an rc-600 now and I want to do the sam thing on this one. I have a found a way to set up a count in and metronome for the first loop, but my problem is that I hear the metronome on every other track, and it counts me in on every track, I cant loop directly on the other tracks. Are you still in the game, and do you have a rc-600? All the best! C

Thank you so much for your tutorials, they are so helpful! Is there a way to have the metronome play for an entire song whether u are recording or not? Thanks :)

Thanks, that was really eye opening. I want to understand the sub exit settings. can't I hear the metronome in a cheap headphone set? is it possible to set the metronome to work in a phones line out exit?
