Arguments are used to pass values into or out of a workflow. They are created in the Arguments panel of the workflow designer and their scope can be set to either the whole workflow or a specific activity. Arguments can be used to pass values from one workflow to another, or to pass values from the calling workflow to the called workflow. In addition, arguments can be used to return a value from a called workflow to the calling workflow
