VOX DEBUNKED: The Real Reason American Health Care is So Expensive

More recently Vox put out a video called 'The Real Reason American health care is so expensive' and upon request, I decided to do a video response. The argument Vox make is that American health care costs are expensive because of private health insurance, therefore, they argue that public ownership is the key to cheaper costs.

As a Scot who was born and brought up in Great Britain, I can tell you that nothing is quite as black and white as the picture Vox paint, in fact, the costs are hidden. In this video I explain the real reason American health care is so expensive, as well as the problems with the British NHS. Whilst there is significant public sector spending by countries like Spain, France, Italy who have hybrid health care markets, they also consist of strong free-market principles.
