I just read all of “trumps history of racism” from vox and clicked all the sources.
-many of the link required a subscription to actually read so what’s the point of the link?
- they left out important details
- they attributed motive
- some of the sources were just random articles

As someone from the Netherlands I agree that we have the privilege of America paying so much on the military. We should pay 2% of our GDP, which would mean 15.4 billion USD, we currently pay 8.7 billion USD. As a country with only 16 million people increasing our budget from one day to the next is going to completely collapse our welfare state. (we need to be way more self sufficient)

let me tell you a little story:

I live in a country with Socialized Medicine, but where you can buy your own health care if you choose (and can afford it). I'm successful enough at what I do to have the pleasure of getting my private insurance paid for by my employer, now let's compare:

If I need a regular doctor's appointment I can choose between:

a) going to the socialized health clinic and waiting around 8-12 hrs.
b) making an appointment at the same clinic and waiting 2-3 weeks

or

c) calling my insurance and they will send a doctor to my home in about 1 hr

in case of an emergency I can:

a) go to the socialized ER: 4-6 hrs

or

b) go to my listed ER: 15 min max.

Guess my choice

Doc here. One of the biggest, if not THE biggest reason for high costs is the legal system. Doctors are getting sued as easily as people buy coffee. There are both public and layers who see the medical profession as a lottery ticket. Innocent doctors, hospitals, device providers and much more get sued any time someone has pain when they sneeze. People say “oh, their insurance will cover the lawsuits “. But that leads to astronomical malpractice insurance costs. That has to end.
The vast majority of the time, people who are sick are going to have issues of one form or another. That is not the systems fault. Medical devices are made to try to help people get better. There is no guarantee that people will be well. But when they don’t feel like a teenager again, they play the medical lottery. That has to change.

Your videos are amazing and yesterday's video was insane... Your arguments yesterday in the video helped me paint a very clear picture today to a project manager in my company. He is from Australia and thought that we should have some type of laws that govern using the wrong pronouns or mis identifying a trans gender. I spoke with him about our first amendment and made it clear that if the government can control what we say about one group of people and make it an actionable offense then where does it stop? Then I went on to explain that what if there were elected officials in the future that expanded on this law to include that you cannot say something that was close to home for him (I don't want to explain details but it has to do with something he and his family can relate to)... at the end of the hour long debate between myself and him he took a step back and said "you know what... you are right. I do not want the government telling me what to do and what I can say... people have to be less sensitive about everything".

I wanted to share this because your views are 90% of the time on point and I have learned how to approach these issues with people that completely disagree with me by the way you debate and prove your point. Thanks again and keep it up...

By the way I have told my wife to subscribe me to the mug club fo4 Christmas. She hates listening to me talk about social issues and politics and I told her if she gets it for me then I'll quit bringing it up around her.

All I know is before Obama care I was spending roughly 250 a month for 4 ppl for health care with a 1000 deductible. Now after Obama care I pay 650 a month for 4 ppl with a 10000 deductible. Doesn't seem fair.
