The trouble I have with the matte stuff that's out now is that matte isn't supposed to mean dry - it just means "not shiny." There's no reason they shouldn't have some creaminess to them. They just shouldn't shine!

NYX lingerie lipsticks have never been streaky with me, they have always been amazing

With the Maybelline vivid Matte, ones you just have to blot them and they will dry down completely matte.

The nyx suede doesn't claim to be matte actually it even says on the tube it's a cream

I really like the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks. They are long wearing and take a while to dry to a matte finish, but once they do they are completely matte. They feel comfortable on your lips. Only problem is they are a drugstore brand here in the UK and Europe but not in America. Which is strange as they are the Mother Company to Chanel cosmetics. You can get them online at ASOS from America.

Honestly, these videos you make help me out a lot. I'm only 15 as of right now, and love makeup. I wanted to get into wearing more makeup, but didn't know what to get and how much to spend, as I didn't want to blow too much money trying to test out what worked for me.

I don't knownwhat happened with her Nyx lingerie lipsticks. I have 3 and I love them. they arent streaky at all and they dry down perfectly for me.

I agree with pretty much everything, however, I've purchased a few of the Milani matte liquid lipsticks and I've found that they are incredible drying and are really patchy. The color payoff is awesome and so is the wear and it has a true matte finish, but whenever I've worn them, they always crack and crumble and it makes my lips look really dry even though I've exfoliated and moisturized my lips really well before applying it and it makes it really patchy. Plus it settles into the fine lines on my lips. I'm just not a fan, but that's just my opinion. Great video and I totally agree with the others. Xox

Glad that you mention Jordana! Gosh!! i love those lippies and for me the lasting power of Rose Macaron is fantastic. Wore it once for almost 10hrs and i didn't need to touch up.

The Revlon ones even if not completely matte lasted on me throughout a whole wedding dinner, so I really love them :) Yeah they do transfer, but when you check your lips even after eating at least for me they are very much still there.

Oh, man. The Maybelline Vivid Mattes were terrible. The bright purple one is insanely patchy, and neither of the colors I bought ever dried down. They were as shiny as a regular lipgloss, and they made my lips feel weird and numb. Bleh.
