The answer is more of a "yes, but"

It does sound different, but not in a bad way.

The smaller one sounds like a parlor
Box tone 😌

I've always had full size guitars. Then I saw a used Orangewood jr. live for $135 and decided to buy it. I love it. It sounds fine, and feels really comfortable in my lap. I prefer it to my full sized ones now.

I always played beighss because playing guitar hurt my hands when trying to do chords, even power chords. Then had the chance to play a 3/4 size guitar, and WOW, game changer! The world of guitar is finally open to me. Small guitars are underrated! Great video!

Small Body guitars have to be created carefully in order to sound full. That's what makes Sheeran by Lowden and Orangewood Jr guitars so worth it. I own 3 small bodies and I've never willingly bought a full body. I just love them

the bigger guitar sounded so much more accurate in my opinion. It sounded right compared to the other one. The other one was just trying to imitate but failed

I will never play anything other than a 3/4. I learned to play on one and I'll die playing one. I'd be lost without my guitar ❤

the bigger one obviously has a fuller sound and gives room for the full note to shine, whereas the smaller guitar because of the lack of room to resonate enough you end up with weaker lows and overpowered mids and the highs are more pingy.

Jr. the sound is nice but I like the smaller guitars because you need less grip strength. It is a winner if you have arthritis or it you play a lot and want to avoid discomfort.

I'm so happy with my Oliver Jr. I keep it at my office. It's good for travel, too.

The big one sounds more round and warm, while the smaller one just sounds a little more boxy

I feel like the smaller guitar has kind of a brighter sound to it that the full sized one, the Oliver has a overall warmer tone

Much better lower end with the full size

On a video you won't hear a big difference, but in person the bigger will have more volume for sure.

The full size has a fuller, richer sound, which is good for a lot of heavy/emotional pieces. On the other hand, the 3/4 size a sharper, crisper tone, and honestly the sound of a guitar is based on who plays it

I'm 6ft tall with fat fingers. Always prefer a bigger size guitar, Dreadnaught if possible so I don't have to cramp my fingers or accidentally touch the next strong when pressing chords.
