Hmm, how would people feel about an end of patch recap on star rail story? Instead of 8+ hours of footage, maybe a 15-30 min video on main cutscene reactions with explanations of what happens in between? Maybe I just need to try a different STYLE of star rail content. unsure yet, lmk thoughts

It's all in the wording. Someone can say "this game just isn't for me", and no one can argue with that. But when they say "this game sucks" that's just not true. None of these games "suck" that's obvious because they all make millions of dollars. One game might fit someone's interests or play style better than others. That doesn't mean one "sucks" and the other is great. I'm probably quitting Wuwa. Not because it sucks. It just hasn't grabbed my interest and I log on and look at the things there are to do and I still have plenty I could do I haven't even completed more than 2 character stories yet. But I'm like...nah, and I turn it back off. I'll wait for some of these other new games that are coming or wait it out for the next patch ot two. This isn't a kuro vs hoyo thing. I burned out on HSR too in a few weeks. Turn based combat just wasn't fun for me. HSR is obviously an awesome game but not for me.

Streamers in my country are also starting to do the same thing. Not because HSR is bad or anything but most of them think that HSR is better played off-stream. They just don't think the game is suitable for streaming.

I totally respect your opinions on HSR and I have my ups and downs with it as well. I'm more invested in Genshin and Wuthering Waves and have spent the last couple weeks trying to keep up with both because I am already a Genshin lover but WuWa really has pulled me in. I think you should just upload what brings you joy and makes you happy, Bran. One of my favorite things about you is how genuine and honest you are about something whether it's a story, gameplay or whatever. I am most entertained when I see you enjoying a game and just having fun with it. I've enjoyed your content since first finding your Genshin demos reaction. As someone who has played all three games (HSR, Genshin, and WuWa), here's my opinion:
Play whatever you want and enjoy whatever you want. I'm going to say it right now: these three games are totally different in general (story, pacing, characters, etc.). Just so you know, "disliking something is totally fine, but talking shit about what others enjoy is dunderhead behavior." I still find it really ridiculous that there's so much hate and conflict between fandoms. To those who start unnecessary online wars, you are the problematic and immature ones. Grow up and stop being so biased.

bran i love the transparency you have on your channel :)! I mostly enjoy the content where i see that you enjoy yourself, so focus on what makes you happy. I also enjoy the content where we as a community can discuss and exchange different perspectives, but its sad that this isnt always in the most constructive in the commentsection. If it takes a toll on your psyche, its good to take a break from it and i look forward into your insight on stream whenever i can catch you there!

Honestly, if we evaluate all three games in the quickest way, HSR will be very suitable for those who are passionate about the turn-based genre, and for those who are passionate about exploration, genshin and WW will be a good choice

As someone who enjoys long and talkative quests (i feel like im watching a movie and its chill) i can absolutely see why someone else may not enjoy them and thats fine! Ive been watching for a few years now and really enjoy all of the content you put out - as long as its content you enjoy your reactions and videos are always great, feel no pressure as to what you should upload, people like me will keep on watching for your genuine reactions and overall videos :)

Honestly bran, it's fun to watch you when you're having fun. So if the gameplay and character building of hsr is not fun for you, then it makes sense if you have someone else do it for you juat so you can enjoy the story whenever you feel like doing it.

I totally understand where you are coming from with this video, and I completely agree with your decision and probably would have done the same if I were in your position. Though I can’t help but feel sad since I usually don’t get the chance to tune in to live streams and would rather watch both your reactions and another watch of the quest. It’s fun for me since you notice different things a lot and rewatching allows me to pick up on extra content I didn’t notice/skipped/ forgot to do.

I discovered bran's channel way back on his genshin demo reactions and ever since then i've always looked forward on your videos. It's pretty sad that you won't cover HSR now, well I guess that's just how it is, I personally loved your reactions on HRS contents tho.

Still it would be nice if you still upload some HSR contents like trailer reactions and animated shorts stuff like that
