Why Scourge Didn't use the thing he use to control Airazor in the Final Battle ? | Spoiler Alert !

In Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Scourge attach something to airazor that later on he manage to control her. So the question is Why scourge didnt use it again in the Final Battle ? ( Spoiler Alert )

Airazor also wasnt expecting it but prime was watching scourge so he couldve easily sliced it with his sword. Also i think that it prbly takes scourge a lot of mental strength to take over their mind so he cant use it in final battle because he needs to be focused

Prime is literally a prime so there's no point in trying to control him, he'd pretty much counter it and fight it off only to rip it off like how he ripped off scourge's head along with the power of the matrix, that little controlling device got nothing on prime or primal. But it could work with the other maximals and autobots, but then again we got wheeljack so yeah. Nice theory btw love the fact that my most unaswered question after watching the film was answered. Maybe Scourge only had one. The movie had A LOT of cut content, let's hope the digital release solves all these mysteries

If you pay attention closely at the end when prime is fighting scourge he uses some of those moves to fight Megatron in the first transformers

The device looked like it infected Airazor has a hybrid infection that has elements of the rust plague & the hate plague.

As for why it wasn’t used again and the other inconsistencies, your explanations work very well. It would have been good to see Wheeljack making a patch against the virus just in case
