Freddie's voice was beautiful and strong, even in his very last song. He sang from his soul, which is eternal.

Freddie died on 24 November 1991... But still alive in our heart

"And Freddie at that time said ‘Write me stuff … I know I don’t have very long; keep writing me words, keep giving me things I will sing, then you can do what you like with it afterwards, you know; finish it off’ and so I was writing on scraps of paper these lines of ‘Mother Love’, and every time I gave him another line he’d sing it, sing it again, and sing it again, so we had three takes for every line, and that was it … and we got to the last verse and he said ‘I’m not up to this, and I need to go away and have a rest, I’ll come back and finish it off … and he never came back" ~ Brian May

I get choked up listening to Brian singing the last verse of Mother Love knowing Freddie is gone, pulls at my heart every time I hear it.

Ok, in my opinion it doesn't get any better than Freddie Mercury..Not just his voice, but his stage presence. How he could literally hold 350 thousand Fan's in the palm of his hands.... He is the ultimate rock star in my eyes..I have tried to listen to every interview, read what ever I can find on the band and their awesome front man..I consider myself a true Queen, Freddie Mercury fan..

The line from "Mother Love" that haunts me, one of the last few lines in Freddie's part of the recording says "I just want some peace before I die..." That line just cuts into my heart every time. What must he have been thinking as he rehearsed and recorded a line like that, one that must have hit so close to home?

That last "I still love you" in the "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" video.... I've seen that video hundreds of times over the past three decades, and it still brings tears to my eyes.

Nice video. Still, I think you forgot to mention the most emotional part of "Mother Love", which is the fact that after Freddie passed away, Brian May finished the song and sang the last verse himself. To me, that's the crucial moment in this piece of art. The moment when Freddie finishes singing, and Brian takes over after the bittersweet guitar solo... That's when you realize: This is the end of Freddie's amazing and mindblowing career. AND: Brian May sang that last verse with pure and raw emotion. Always sends shivers down my spine..

"Mother love let me back inside" as a mother it sounds like Freddie would have wanted to be reborn and given another chance. Just my thoughts. He lived and died music..was still able to send out that amazing voice even while sick. From his interviews I gather he lived a life looking for love and eventually found it.. He also had a deep love for Mary till the end.. Theirs was a deep friendship and he stated he trusted her with his most deepest thoughts. He sure seemed to be a very nice person as well as generous. He sang a number of songs about God. I often wonder what his beliefs were spiritually. He seems to have believed in God. I bet had he lived he would still be out here singing.

WOW! The power in his voice even as he is nearing death. What an artist, what a beautiful soul....I hope he is singing his guts out in heaven! I could always depend on Freddie and Queen to lift my spirits when I was feeling down as a teen! THANK YOU FREDDIE!

The words, " Mother Love, take me back inside", made me think of a child going to their mother for comfort, and she wraps her arms around her child, protecting, and comforting the child, in the safety of her embrace...

♥REST IN PEACE

🙏🙏🙏🌞🤴👑💓💓💓🎼🎤🎹💓🌈💓♾️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I wasn’t surprised by the today’s generation falling in love with queen, stuck with bad singers and bad music of today. This must be so refreshing, I love queen Snd sam Cooke also, what a day to listen to both, a few misc singers from the late fifties and early sixties and your day is made you won’t want to go back to today’s songs

What an icon. Loved him so much!
"My heart is heavy...my hope is gone..." Those must have been hard lyrics to sing. RIP
