Are real estate agents necessary in the Internet age?

💯 Yes.

Salespeople are always going to be necessary.

Clients are always going to need someone who can negotiate for them. Look out for them. Advise them.

Now, will the job always look as it does today? Absolutely not. The real estate industry, like all, will have to grow and evolve in order to match client's expectations.

Embrace automation and AI to make your job better for you and better for your client, but be very careful of trying to automate yourself out of a job. Not because you are trying to keep your job, but more so because you can easily lose sight of the personal touch that is what makes you so valuable.
