Regardless of the status of PPC in House of Commons at dissolution, he and his party are a legitimate option for Canadians.
They're more of a legitimate option than, say, the Bloc or really the Green Party.
They have candidates across Canada, they have a comprehensive platform, and they're engaged with Canadians.

I would love it if they would stop focusing so heavily on debates as the main presentation of electing leaders.
We can keep that as a featured night but what I would propose is that EACH party here have a nationally broadcasted explanation of their platform while answering more direct & tough questions from journalists/interviewers than we've seen tonight.
