Peter Buck is a founding member and lead guitar player of R.E.M. The band made alternative rock part of mainstream culture, sold millions of albums, and managed to stay together for 31 years. After the breakup, Peter Buck continued to tour and play regularly to help support talented artists. He also founded curates and performs at the annual Todos Santos Music Festival in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Mr. Buck has spent time in Todos Santos since the 1990s and wanted to help local children, who have limited education options.

An all-time favourite guitarist of mine. I believe what he says about Todos Santos. Being from Athens and the guitarist of Fables of the Reconstruction, he would know.

Cool video. I was in Athens from 90-95 and I can see the magic Buck sees in Todos Santos. It's similar to what Athens had in the early 80's. It's cool he's scaled things down and planting a new seed somewhere totally new and different.
