Villas out of Molehills (Withington, Gloucestershire) | S13E02 | Time Team

When a colony of moles brings up pieces of mosaic floor in a Cotswold field, Tony Robinson and the team investigate whether the findings could be linked to a nearby Roman villa discovered almost 200 years ago. A local spring might give a clue to the 5 true purpose of the building. The team are joined by local archaeologist Roger Box, and Roman specialists David Neal and Richard Reece.

Love the discussions! Really shows the thinking processes behind the archeology and how one clue might point in so many different directions just depending on who and how one is looking at it. Fascinating stuff!

Also, it's always nice to hear someone admit they were wrong. It's too rare and needs to happen more. People need to realise that it's not a character flaw but exactly the opposite to be able to do that
