Did it this method... it worked 👍 - I was a bit worried about breaking the glass so I enabled the heated windscreen 1st, waited for that to go off, then heated with hair dryer in loose circles around the 3m tape.... I found pulling with a constant force like a slow oozy drip worked a treat rather than yanking / jerking it off... Cheers 🍻

Haven’t tried it, but I think letting the sun heat up the windshield on a hot day might be an easy way to remove the tape. Plus, the sun will evenly heat the entire windshield.

Would the adhesive still work again after? I installed my rear dash cam upside down. I doesn't really matter but if it's simple enough, I might try to heat it up, flip it, and stick it back on.

i think i'd need to be careful when using a heat gun as it puts out so much more heat, it might crack the glass?

After watching many different ways to remove this It made sense to use a heat gun. The intense heat was enough to gently twist the cameras off and finish by rolling the adhesive off, Came out clean as a whistle. I believe a hair dryer does not supply enough temp. I used a Wagner that puts out 800 degrees for about a 90 seconds 2 inches from glass and on the back where I have tint I reduced the heat and time because it can literally melt the tint from the outside. Be careful when using a heat gun.
