1. tape around the area you’re spraying to protect the paint outside of the target area. if it doesn’t need adhesive remover don’t put any on it.
2. probably better off getting that rubber eraser wheel that 3m makes or a cheap version. way faster way safer for paint if you’re careful and all you have to do is polish the area after and it looks new.

So, I'm assuming it removes most all adhesives on autos since it was designed to specifically remove *3M* adhesive? I hope so because I am off to buy it.

What 3M tape specifically ? I need some for some door protectors (very lightweight) and it’s been hard to ascertain which of their multitude of tapes is most suitable for cars 🚗 without ruining paint for this - pls help if you can ?!
