Lordi saved the ESC. Their victory showed everyone you can risk something different and not just have a chance, but you can win by a landslide.

Serbia 2007, Norway 2009, Germany 2010, Austria 2014, Ukraine 2016, Portugal 2017, Israel 2018 would not have been happened without Lordi.
Perhaps not even Sweden 2012.

sadly the first and last time when a rock/ metal band played on eurovision.. too bad that todays people are only like this soft pop and any other soft music..but theres even a lot of people who loves any type of rock or metal...!-!
