I love those mechanical workings sounds underplaying the music.. akin to the swans feet working under the serene beauty of its movement over the water.

I've largely ignored the slew of very popular, extremely dull piano releases the last few years but Shida Shahabi has a real down to earth, simplistic joy & convention ignoring honesty that has really grabbed me. Her intimate, creatively recorded recent collaboration with cellist Linnea Olsson for 130701/ Sing a song fighter is no exception.
