I used to create a "Miracle List" every start of the year, and it never fails to break my heart every end of the year. It created a feeling in me that nothing is ever enough and that I always need to do or experience more, more, and more just to prove to myself that I am not a failure as a Christian. Praise God for ministries like yours and Chris Rosebrough, I have been delivered from practices such as these.

I've one wish in my bucket list, and that's getting to heaven and live with my Lord forever. What a blessing it'll be leaving this aging and weakening body for good. I've no idea what it'll be like but, then I'l know it.

What I love about watching your church services Steve, is the fact that it may be new to us, who are not Lutheran's, the way you structure it and the songs are not what we used to but, your pastor preaches the truth oh, no one will ever be led astray watching your church service.

These guys hit the nail on the head. I'm from Birmingham and have lots of friends and family that are members of Chris Hodges's church, and I've been seeing things wrong with Hodges, COTH, and ARC for a long time now. It's nice to see that they are gaining more widespread attention and criticism from those who are committed to defending the Word of the God. Also, their "vision" for their seminary/college (Highlands College) is to be an international destination for people wanting to enter ministry; they have big "dreams" and "visions" (so to speak) for their influence in the world, and there's no end in sight.

I’m in that year you guys described, where I’m in disbelief at the lies I believed and have run back to the Bible! My heart yearns for truth! What's crazy to me is how far this stuff goes. I'm from New Zealand and we had Chris and Craig groeschel speak at an Arise conference a few years back (I was never strongly associated with arise) but the message here is SO similar it's not even funny. Even down to the plane story and footage. Thanks for all the work you guys do watching these for us. 😂

Steven, as a pastor of a southern baptist church, I greatly appreciate your teaching. Unfortunately, some of these same teachings, like Hodges and Groschel, are in S. Baptist churches. I am more Reformed and are an expository preacher, properly exegeting Scripture. It is sad to hear these type of teachers and frustrating. I look forward to these videos every week. The conversations you and Paulette have are some of the same my wife and I have. All of your videos are awesome. Keep it up!

This breaks my heart. I have been a member of Church of the Highlands since 2014. But about a month ago I watched American Gospel and I am working out cutting ties with COTH. I am also focusing on Bible study and apologetics. I want Jesus! Thank you for this video. And all praise to God for opening my eyes.
