Quick and Easy HomeAssistant Installation on Proxmox (Tteck Scripts)

Quick video that was cut from the first recording of my other How to Install Proxmox video. Initially I was going to show how to install a VM from scratch but this Tteck script made it so easy that I went ahead and put this out real quick. I'm sorry that this is mostly a talking head video but I wanted to give enough context and solutions for folks who might find this video without having seen my others. I had to cut a lot of references to my How to Install HomeAssistant on a PC video because I was comparing the two when recording but on it's own it didn't make much sense. I hope that doesn't affect the video too much. I hope to cover some more Proxmox stuff in the future.

Overall, Proxmox has been easier than I expected and this script by Tteck makes installing HA OS VM an absolute breeze. I'd recommend this route if you have grander plans than just Home Assistant OS for your server computer.

Hey Y'all! I just wanted to call out that this video is not my most clear work. Installing a VM on Proxmox without the script is much more involved and would take a lot of time. I hope to cover that separately later but this is the tail end of my other Proxmox video - which is why there are some references to things not in this video. I wanted to just get this out there and see how it does - maybe I'll come back and remake it in the future but for now I think it is enough to get HA OS installed. Hello.

Quick question. My Sonoff for Zigbee is detected, but the entities show as unavail. But all works because on the old instance (I'm tranferring from a Pi to proxmox) it seems to be seeing everything... The Zigbee addon doesn't work there but the devices are activated anyway. I'm confused :)
