Was Samson A Real Figure? Surprising Archaeological Clues

Samson is a huge figure in the Bible. The big question is do we have any hints of Samson’s existence in archaeology? The answer is "yes", and it gets real interesting!

Also Samson’s strength was supernatural. So God could have empowered Samson to push down stone pillars too.

The Biblical text describes the Gaza temple as having two pillars supporting the roof (Jgs 16:24). He concludes, 'the Bible writer knew his facts. He knew that Philistine temples were supported by two pillars and that this was how Samson pulled the temple down. The report is that of an eye-witness, again demonstrating that indeed the Bible is the world's most accurate history textbook' (1974: 54).

That seal cannot be depicting a sheep. It has a long, curled tail like a cat. The head is also shaped like a lion's, not like a sheep's, and it is held up, not down like a sheep's. I don't know if it depict's Samson or a battle, but it definitely doesn't depict a sheep.
