Thank you Scott. That really was one of the best tips for Trello. Now you can see the overview in the project card and distribute the tasks in the board according to urgency or status.

Great video thanks. You mentioned that the linked tasks / cards could be created on another board. I dont see that option. How do I do that please?

Thank you for sharing! What about sending the sub-tasks to the “complete” board after ticking off the due date

Thank you! If only the created card had the same due date as the checklist item it came from... is it possible?

Hi and thank you so much! I used your game changing tip and I have one further question: Is it also possible to set the due date on the project card in order to set the due dates automatically to the linked checklist items. I try for much hours and didnt find a working butler solutuion.

this worked well with the exception that the tasks do not appear on the "Tasks" list showing the due date. How do I get my linked tasks to show the due date so I can click complete from the tasks list rather than the Sub- Tasks?

The project cards have some custom text fields cardname, program.

Is there a way to add the cardname field from the project card to the task card?
Is there a way to copy the program field from the project card to the task card?

This is an amazing tip! Is there a way to create a rule that will assign the same label present in the card containing the checklist on the created cards? I only find a rule that ask you to assign a specific label but this won't work

Great tip Scott. Thanks. Any tips for sharing boards with clients? I've been looking for a "Filtered view Observer" option but can't seem to find one. Thanks again.

Exactly what I was looking for - how to do it selectively, so that not all check-list items create into a task?

Can you make it generate a card thats a template card with its own unit check lists and information?

Can I also make it so that deleting a checklist item in the parent task also archives the linked card?

Thank you so much for this! I have done this but I have many sub tasks across various projects. Therefore, when I apply your automation the sub task have the same names. Is there a rule where I can automate adding of the label from the (main) project card to the converted card. I would be grateful if you can help. I just can’t wrap my head around it!
