Incredible build the pyramid. Mind-blowing. Thinking about how long ago it was and how they could be able to do it. Just mind-blowing.

2:44 - Pharaoh Khufu was not found there, only one, more recent inscription on a wall referred to that particular pharaoh.
Also of note - no hieroglyphics are found in the Great Pyramid. (only that inscription)

Tutankhamun's Tomb was actually robbed twice shortly after his death. But the raiders had only taken the most valuable items and left most of the larger goods that Carter later discovered. Egypt's history is so vast that it's a miracle for contemporary archaeologists to make any larger intact discoveries.

I am amazed that there are still discoveries to be made and artifacts to be found.

"Any old settlement" is still an important discovery that can reveal clues about our ancestors, and every artefact is important. If a presenter doesn't have a background in history or archaeology they should be required to read academic texts about the region they are investigating before they interview the archaeologists

And suddenly I can read hierogliffs in this upper-room. How confusing this will be for people a 1000 years from now. They will ask themselves: “how was it possible that they had in ancient Egypt also a first lady? And the new Graham Hancock of that time will say: “there must be a deeper meaning to this. Coincidence, I think not. Maybe Norman Plomley was a first lady and could write in English, evidence she was the queen of the world.”.

Hypothetically typing.. If the kings chamber was filled w/ an explosive gas, or substance, taking blocks, weight, fit, ceiling..what kind of internal pressures could it withstand before blowing out?
