BEST Coloured Oil For Wooden Stairs (Like New Again!)

In this video I share what I feel is the best coloured oil product for wooden stairs and other high-traffic woodwork. The great thing about coloured oils is that they're non-film-forming, so they don't flake off in ugly ways as they wear out. This makes coloured oils exceptionally easy to repair. Just apply some fresh oil on top of the old stuff, and you're good to go.

Thank you very much. I just sanded my stairs and banister. I’m going to get Watco and do the stairs with it. Your oak stairs look gorgeous.

Steve, I agree completely. It’s a very good product in the right applications.

Hello. I have a few questions. My stairs have a varathane layer on them, Can I still use this method or do I need to remove it? Can I also reseal them after this dries?
